Rev. Mark Olson . . .

is the Director of Church Relations and Dean of Enrollment at North Park University in Chicago. A graduate of New Trier High School, he earned a B.A. from North Park College and an M.Div. from North Park Theological Seminary, and has studied management at the graduate level. Rev. Olson has served as a parish pastor for 25 years, including churches in South Dakota, Nebraska, and Colorado. In 2000 he was named Dean of University Ministries at North Park University. He has been actively involved in the development of ministries of compassion, mercy, and justice for the Evangelical Covenant Church. Most recently he has guided the formation of a new national department overseeing those ministries. He is married to Rev. Doreen Olson, Executive Minister of Christian Formation of the Evangelical Covenant Church.
