Rabbi Michael Zedek . . .

has been the Senior Rabbi of Emanuel Congregation of Chicago since 2004.  For the previous 4 years he was the Chief Executive Officer of the Jewish Federation of Cincinnati.  Before that he served for 26 years as the spiritual leader of Congregation B’nai Jehudah in Kansas City, that city’s oldest and largest congregation.  He was the recipient of the Danforth Graduate Fellowship for advanced study in the United Kingdom, and is a Phi Beta Kappa graduate of Hamilton College.  He has taught and lectured in South Africa, Russia, China, the former Yugoslavia, and Israel.  He has also been the alumnus-in-residence at the Cincinnati and Los Angeles campuses of Hebrew Union College (HUC-JIR).  Rabbi Zedek is a regular presenter at Rancho La Puerta in Tacate, Mexico, and serves as the host of a radio ship, Religion on the Line.
